We’ll be holding a FREAKY TIKI STUDENT BAR TAKEOVER with selected NUS venues around the UK.
Step into our sub-sea Freaky Tiki underworld for your chance to WIN VIP summer festival tickets to one of the following UK festivals – Bloodstock BOA, Kendal Calling and Lost Village.
During our Freaky Tiki takeover, simply purchase a Kraken Perfect Storm cocktail at the bar and you’ll receive a Freaky Tiki Face Mat.

Win VIP Summer Festival Tickets: Terms & Conditions
The Competition:
-The competition is being organised by Proximo Spirits (the “Organiser”) and is being run by Steely Fox Ltd, 31 New Inn Yard, London, EC2A 3EY (the “Agency”).
-The competition will take place between 9.00am on 1st June 2017 and 11.59 p.m. on 30th June 2017.
-By entering the competition, the participant expressly accepts these terms and conditions.
-Participants can enter the competition by purchasing a Kraken Perfect Storm cocktail in a participating NUS venue, taking a photo of themselves with a ‘Freaky Tiki Face Mat’ and sharing with The Kraken Rum on Twitter and Instagram, @KrakenRumUK, using the following hashtag #FREAKYTIKIFACE during the promotional period.
-The Organiser and the Agency are making the competition available to NUS students in participating NUS venues on Kraken Rum’s Twitter and Instagram accounts in the UK. Internet access is required to participate.
-Participation is free of charge, but dependent on the purchase of a ‘Kraken Perfect Storm’ cocktail from participating NUS venues.
Who can enter?
-Any person who is over the age of 18, is able to supply proof of ID, is a student enrolled with one of the participating NUS venues and resident in the United Kingdom is eligible to enter.
-Employees of the Organiser and its affiliated companies, employees of the Agency, freelance contractors and agents and their immediate family members and other persons who are professionally connected with this competition are not eligible to enter.
-Participants may enter the competition more than once.
How can I enter?
-During the promotional period, each participant has the chance to win a pair of tickets to Lost Village Festival 2017, Bloodstock (BOA) Festival 2017 and Kendal Calling Festival 2017. Each participant may only win one Prize Package (as defined below). To enter, the participant must send the requisite information (as outlined above) to The Kraken UK Twitter and Instagram accounts, @KrakenRumUK. The task is deemed to be completed if the participant submits a photo of themselves wearing a ‘Freaky Tiki Face Mat’, sharing it with the hashtag #FREAKYTIKIFACE.
-The Organiser and the Agency reserve the right to exclude submissions from the competition and to delete them if they do not fulfil the task or if they contain insults, inaccuracies, infringements of competition, trademark or copyright law, violence, threats, self-harm, bullying, harassment, hate speech, explicit content, nudity, the intellectual property of third parties or content that poses a risk to safety. In such cases, Prize Packages may also be disallowed in retrospect.
-The participant indemnifies the Organiser and the Agency from all claims arising in connection with such non-permitted entries.
-Messages will be checked for possible obscenity or other undesired, e.g. discriminatory, content. The Organiser and the Agency reserve the right at their sole discretion not to publish these contents. If this happens, the participant will be notified and barred from entering the competition.
-The participant affirms that he/she is the sole creator of the image submitted or holds all the necessary usage rights for the purposes of the competition. If the image depicts other persons or property in addition to the participant in recognisable form, the participant affirms that he/she has the consent of such persons to freely dispose of the text or image for the purposes of the competition and in particular to disseminate it to third parties and publish it on the Internet. In general, the participant affirms that he/she has respected all relevant usage rights, ancillary copyrights and other rights relating to the text and image and that the text and image is free of third-party rights.
-By entering this competition, the participant transfers all transferable usage rights to the text and image submitted, unlimited in time and without geographic or content-related restrictions, to the Organiser, particularly the right to publish the text and image on The Kraken UK’s Twitter and Instagram account, or make it otherwise publicly available, the right of duplication and the right to give third parties usage rights for the photo produced. No payment shall be due. The participant will take all necessary steps and obtain all necessary documents to assert the rights promised here to the Organiser. In particular, the participant may be required to personally assert the rights of the Organiser. The participant indemnifies the Organiser and the Agency from all claims arising against the Organiser or the Agency in connection with the uploaded image.
-Participation via competition services and automated competition procedures (or similar) is not permitted. The Organiser and the Agency reserve the right to remove or exclude participants from the competition without stating reasons. Participants who try to disrupt the competition or give themselves an unfair advantage by using prohibited tools shall also be excluded from taking part.
-The Organiser cannot be held accountable for entries submitted via social media platforms which are not visible or searchable due to user’s social media privacy settings.
What is the prize?
-The prize is 2 x festival tickets (“Prize Package”) to one of the following 2017 festivals: Kendal Calling, Bloodstock (BOA), Lost Village.
-The total Prize Package includes 1 pair of General Weekend Camping tickets for Kendal Calling, 1 pair of VIP General Weekend Camping tickets for Bloodstock (BOA), and 1 pair of VIP General Weekend Camping tickets for Lost Village.
-Winners will be given a choice of festival tickets where possible. Prize Packages will be offered on a first come, first served basis, therefore the Organiser cannot guarantee the first choice of Prize Package will be available.
-Prize Packages will be provided by Kendal Calling, Bloodstock (BOA) and Lost Village festivals respectively and are subject to the individual festival’s terms and conditions (as indicated below) and therefore winning the Prize Package does not guarantee entry to the festival.
-The Prize Package is non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable.
-If a Prize Package is no longer available for reasons beyond the Organiser’s control, the Organiser reserves the right to offer alternative prizes of the same value at its own discretion.
How will the winner be selected and notified?
-Winners will be selected at random from all eligible entries received. The draw will take place on 3rd July 2017.
-All decisions of the Organiser in respect of this competition will be final and binding on entrants.
-Winners will be notified on 7th July 2017. If a winner cannot be contacted using the Twitter or Instagram handle provided, or if he/she fails to confirm his/her address details during this period, the Prize Package will be forfeited.
-Each winner’s Twitter or Instagram handle will be published after it has been drawn.
-The Organiser and the Agency accept no liability if any winner’s notification is lost when electronically sent and/or does not reach any winner for reasons beyond its control.
How will I receive my prize?
-Winners will be requested to send their address by e-mail or direct message. The Prize Package will either be sent by mail to the postal address provided or you will receive guest list passes for collection at the festival. The notified winners are responsible for providing the correct names and addresses. Neither the Organiser nor the Agency accept responsibility if a Prize Package cannot be delivered for any reason or is lost in the post. Photographic ID may be required to collect any guest list passes.
Changes to the terms and conditions
-The Organiser reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time if there are good reasons for doing so. The Organiser will make every effort to ensure that any changes do not affect participation in the competition. If any individual provisions should be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining terms and conditions of use shall not be affected.
Miscellaneous
-The Organiser hereby makes it known that the availability and functioning of the competition cannot be guaranteed. If the competition has to be ended or removed due to external circumstances or constraints, e.g. technical problems, rule changes or decisions by platforms such as Twitter or Instagram, participants shall not be entitled to make any claims against the Organiser or the Agency. If any individual provisions of these terms and conditions are or become ineffective, the effectiveness of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The Organiser shall not accept any contractual, non-contractual or other liability as far as this is legally admissible, particularly any liability connected in any way with the Prize Package.
-The Organiser cannot accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, death or injury suffered by any entrant entering the competition or as a result of accepting any Prize Package.
-The Organiser will only use the personal details supplied for the administration of the competition and for no other purpose.
-It is not the intention of the Organiser to use this competition in any way to encourage excessive consumption of alcohol.
-This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Twitter or Instagram.
-This competition shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales and subject to their exclusive jurisdiction.

GENERAL PRIZE TERMS & CONDITIONS
-No travel to or from the festival is included in the Prize Package apart from where specifically stated.
-General camping is provided but winners will need to provide their own means of accommodation.
-Drinks tokens cannot be exchanged for cash.
-You may be asked for proof of age for the purchase or redemption of alcohol.
-Each ticket admits one person. Both people in the group must be aged 18 years or over.
-Wheelchair access may be limited or unavailable.
-The content of the Prize Package may be subject to change and/or substituted with a prize of equal or greater value.
-If a festival is cancelled at all, at any point, the Organiser will not and cannot be held responsible for any out of pocket expenses that the winner has incurred for travel / accommodation arrangements.
